RL w/ Yuri

[ After Reimu had stopped that troublesome ghost, the spring that had been "stolen" is now back in place. In one of the gardens of Eientei, she waits for him to arrive. This particular garden is the only place where she doesn't keep eternity in check. If she did, she wouldn't be able to see the sakura trees bloom and grow... and die. It's cycle is not something she would ever want to stop.

It's slightly windy out, so small flowers are disturbed enough from their branches to fall. She tucks a loose strand of black hair behind her ear before folding her arms underneath her sleeves. Being late after noon, she knows they wouldn't be disturbed here. All she does now is idly watch the petals fall from their branches. ]

[ As he stepped into the new world, his eyes caught a falling pink petal...for a moment, he almost thought he was standing under the great tree of Halure. With a blink, he remembered. He world hopped, there's no way that'd be possible. And as he looked up, sure enough, the tree was much smaller. Huh...it was still just as beautiful. He turned his attention forward, his eyes falling on the one who had invited him. He gave a small wave. ]

Yo, princess.

[ She silent for a moment, letting him observe this part of Eientei. When the shishi-odoshi empties and clacks back to be filled again, only then does she speak. ] Tell me, Yuri. From our previous conversations, how much have you inferred?

[ She wants to know how much he's put together, and whether or not he suspects she's immortal or not. This isn't something she would talk about on over the community. Although she doesn't show it, she is very displeased that he called her out even if she knows she was the one that was pulling the strings of hints along. ]

[ Huh...so that's what she wanted to talk about. ]

Hm...not a lot. Especially since I don't exactly believe in anything related to eternity. [ Especially not life. Still...he couldn't say for sure. He was doubtful, and it showed. ]

If I said I figured you were gonna live for a long time, would I be lying?

You do not believe, mm... [ She takes his disbelief into consideration. It's funny but... active disbelief only made those in Gensokyo stronger- at least according to that one shopkeeper. Who knows if that's actually true, though. Anything goes here. She speaks bluntly. ] How long?

Hmm. [ He thought...staring back at her. ] Beats me. Whatever it is, it'll be a lot longer than me, by the sounds of it. [ She couldn't...really be immortal, right? That was the stuff of story books. Then again...this community did get the weirdest people. ]

Any way you can prove it? [ That you're, in fact, immortal. ]

[ Asking for proof now, is he? She shakes her head. ] No, I believe this is where I shall cut ties with you.

[ Because if she does prove it- she knows what will happen next. 'I want immortality too', 'tell me how to gain it', 'what do I have to do', 'Princess, I beg you to'. It's all the same. ]

[ ...Sigh. Well, it's business whether she wants to prove it or not. He can't completely deny it, after seeing so much improbably shit on the community. But he wasn't going to just believe it either. Oh well. ]

Seems like a pretty weird reason to cut ties with someone. [ He scratched his head. ] Well...if it is true...

I feel sorry for you. Immortality sounds like it'd suck.

Wrong again. It is the most perfect reason to sever ties. [ She looks over to him. ] I am helping you not become like the rest who know of immortality- it does not matter how virtuous they were; all were corrupted over time the longer they associated with me. A warning, then: mention this to anyone else I will curse your entire family for five millennia.

Heh. Corrupted by the thought of immortality. [ He just chuckled at that. ] Well, it's your business whether you talk to me or not. I don't really care for immortality either way.

Besides. [ He had a full grown smirk on his face. ] I don't have any family.

When a fox grins, it is a tragedy for which I care little. You are thinking much too literal. [ But yeah, that smirk does tick her off. So before she decides to actually hurt him here and now- ] Think before you speak and act, Yuri.

That's not something I'm good at, your highness. [ He does put the grin away, though. He's not without some tact. ]

So I guess we go our separate ways now, huh?

That much was obvious, yes, but I shall not bother explaining it to you.

You are dismissed. I doubt we shall meet again by my own accord.

Yeah. Well, it was fun, at least. I'll see you around, princess. [ He turned, and with a last, small smirk, waved back to her. He had no intention of cutting ties, but...hey, whatever she wanted, right? He didn't care, one way or another.

He took the book out from his belt sash, opening it up. He gave the cherry blossoms one last look, before suddenly, disappearing exactly as he had come, without a trace. ]
